Poet's Note
revv. you'll-ution, soon to be published by Displaced Press, reads to melike a spasmodic, agitated, flailing dance. The language isguttural-visceral. It is also vernacular, raw, vascular (if that can beapplied to language) and grotesque (by this I mean there is a clash ofsupposedly incompatible elements). And somehow, it moves back in time tothe present by considering homo sapian roots, cave people, burials, excavations, quaking geologic under layers, body sensing andincarceration, etc. by filtering through the concept of revolution withall its varied implications. The cacophony of structure, sometimesentropic and obverse, solublized and spectral. In a joint interviewwith CAConrad he asked about revv. you'll-ution and this statement ispretty much a quotation from that discussion. The interview in itsentirety will be published by ON.
